Penny Bruce

Penny Bruce
Homegrown Totes Designer

Penny Bruce is truly a master of her art. She joins Homegrown Totes with over forty years of experience as a production seamstress, making everything from camping and archery equipment to baby carriers and dresses. Her time working in factories left her resolute in the decision to create a fair and equitable marketplace for seamstresses where one is compensated fairly for skill and effort, and we are proud to build our industry on those ethics!

Our Town

Saguache is a small town in the San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado. Our beautiful town has a lot to offer. Saguache is our county's seat, a historic ranching and mining community, and a thriving artists' community. We have a diverse array of locally owned and operated businesses. Our newspaper, The Saguache Crescent, is the only remaining linotype printed weekly in the world. We are a certified Tree City USA, an oasis in the Valley known for the tallest Sand Dunes in North America.

Saguache is located 45 minutes drive from Alamosa and Salida.
